Mona Anderson writes the history of Mt Algidus Station, following the enormous success of her first book, A River Rules My Life.

Curious about the people who came to this remote place before her she tells of her research into their lives. Their characters emerge with a vividness that is quite startling. She ends it with a charmingly modest and humorous account of her own courtship and marriage.

A H & A W Reed 1965 (this copy the 1969 reprint). Hardback with dust jacket, 200 pages. Photographs on plates and illustrations inside covers.

Condition: secondhand hardback in very good condition. Mustard boards with red lettering on spine. Wear to dust jacket includes tears and rubbing to edges (see final photo). A protective film cover for the dust jacket would preserve it.
